

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife and dear mother who departed this world on September 4, 2025 at the age of 73, just one month shy of her 74th birthday. She was a devoted wife and loving mother to her three children. She was a beacon of strength and endurance and loved life with her family.
Born on November 8, 1951 in Terre Haute, Indiana. She was an avid traveler and a Registered Nurse who graduated from St. Anthony’s Hospital School of Nursing in June 1972. Prior to Nursing School, she was a graduate of Wiley High School in 1969. She worked as an RN at St. Anthony’s Hospital and then retired from Regional Hospital while raising her three children.
Marsha married the love of her life and high school sweetheart, Monte Craig Wenzel on December 18, 1971. Marsha’s legacy lives on through her three children, Matt (Rendela) Wenzel, Marcus (Crystal) Wenzel, and Melissa Lemmons (Jeremiah). She was a cherished grandmother to Kayla, Brayden Lemmons, Logan, Ryan, Maylee, Gavin Lemmons, Emilie and Hudson Lemmons, whose lives were enriched with loving wisdom. The oldest child, Marsha, is survived by her siblings Patrick (Yvonne) Young, Christina (Micheal) Kane, and Paul (Sharon) Young. She is also survived by several beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Betty Young.
Marsha was the family vacation planner and loved to help her children and spouses, siblings plan and organize their priceless trips around the world. She also helped her beloved husband Monte build and design the many houses he built and sold as their hobby. Her life was taken from us with cancer surrounded by her family in her home in peace.
We will all be forever changed by her passing and ascent to heaven to be home with our Savior. She will live on in our hearts and memories as a shining light.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home on Tuesday September 9, 2025 from 11am-2pm. Funeral service will begin at 2pm where we will gather to honor her memory and enduring spirit. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
