Mary is survived by three daughters, Deb Tryon and husband John, Peggy Purdy, and Janet Hultz; four sons, Melvin, Bill, Henry and wife Samantha, and Fred Douglas; two brothers, Gail and wife Lois Melvin, and Jack Melvin; two sisters, Della Fagg and husband Kenny, and Darlene Griffin; 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Douglas; her parents; three sons, Walt, Donald and Jimmy; five brothers, Clarence, Fred, Ernest, Charles and Donald.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2014, at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home; with a visitation on Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Officiating for the services will be the Rev. Janice Smith. Burial to follow at Highland Lawn Cemetery. Online condolences can be made to: www.mattoxwood.com
