

Mary Ann was born to Sylvester and Mary Fern Fenton in Terre Haute on August 9, 1942.
Mary Ann went on to marry Donald Weiland on August 3, 1968. They were married for 56 years.
In her life she was a stay-at-home mom/housewife. She also worked at The Shuffle Inn (Becky’s Cafe) as a waitress for 30 years.
She was an avid sports fan. She enjoyed any Bobby Knight coached basketball team, IU and Texas Tech. She also enjoyed watching Nascar and Tony Stewart.
She enjoyed watching her soap operas, Dr. Pol, and her cowboy shows. She was also very fond of her grandfurbabies: Boots, Grizzly, and Snipes.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband Don Weiland; daughter Michelle Stamper (Chris); grandsons CJ Stamper (Lauren) and Loden Stamper (Kendra Wright); great-granddaughter Hazel Stamper; “sister”/cousin/best-friend Barb Anderson (Phil Marone); sister Kathy Fenton Shaffer (Ronnie); special sister in law Sheila Fenton Zimmerman (Mike); sisters in law Mari Freng (Steve), Donna Weiland, Pati Weiland, Geri Adelmann (Terry), and Irma Michels; brothers in law Kevin Fox (LouAnn) and Dave Weiland (Tracy); special nieces and nephews Misty Fox, Mandy Brighton, Ashley Serbousek (Lance), Adam Freng (Shannon), and Dawn McBride (Mark); special great nephews Landon Brighton and Reese Brighton; and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents Sylvester and Mary Fern Fenton; mother and father-in-law John and Rosemarie Weiland; brother William “Bill” Fenton; brother-in-law Joe Weiland; great-granddaughter Kenden Stamper; sister-in-law Marilyn Fenton; niece Ali Adelmann; and longtime best friend Thelma Henneman.
