OBITUARY
Melinda Ann Baratto
February 17, 1980 – April 13, 2015
IN THE CARE OF
Roselawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park
Melinda Ann Baratto, age 35, of Clinton went home to the Lord on April 13th. She was born in Terre Haute to Raymond E. Baratto and Carolyn Ann Guerrettaz Baratto on February 17, 1980. She was baptized and a member of the First Christian Church.
Melinda was a graduate of South Vermillion High School and then went on to Indiana State University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science. She had worked for Health Fitness as a Health Consultant. Caring for people was just second nature for Melinda and the reason she enjoyed her degree and career as much as she did. Her caring nature was also felt throughout the Wabash Valley community through her volunteer work organizing and working many different fundraisers.
An avid runner, Melinda made fitness a priority. Melinda was always full of energy, so much so, that her nephews and niece always enjoyed a visit from her as they knew it was playtime. Her pretty smile will be missed by many.
Melinda is survived by her parents, Raymond and Carolyn Baratto of Center Point; grandmother, Waunita Baratto of Clinton; Sisters, Regina Marie Tucker (husband – Kyle) of Center Point and Cheri Rae Xeros (husband – Nicholas Stephen II) of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; Boyfriend, Allen Latham of Clinton; Nephews, Nicholas Stephen Xeros III and Connor Ray Tucker; Niece, Kailyn Marie Tucker; Aunt, Melinda Mrdja of Indianapolis; Uncles, Joe Mrdja of Clinton, Charles Edward Guerrettaz (wife – Patsy) of Vincennes, Gregory Thomas Guerrettaz of Indianapolis and Joseph Andrew Guerrettaz of Vincennes; and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her Grandmother, Betty Marie Guerrettaz; and Grandfathers, Charles Edward Guerrettaz and Remo Baratto.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 16th from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM at Roselawn Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Roselawn Memorial Park. Please go to www.roselawnfuneralhome.net to share memories and words of comfort.
