I didn't know him personally. But my dad Michael Horton knew him. I know him just by stories my dad has told me. I know Mike was a good husband and father just by stories and he loved his friends and family. I know many people lost not just a friend or a family member but a truck driver. If he ever needed some reassurance about something he would go to my dad or one of his friends. My favorite quote is "After the rain comes a rainbow" that quote will always stick with me. The rain for some people makes us sad because the sky is all dark and gloomy then after the rain comes a rainbow which makes us happy. We all know that everyone was sad and in the worst place but Mike is in a better place. He died doing what he loved. He loved to drive a truck. My heart goes to your family. Many prayers are headed to your family. Gone but never forgotten.
