Michelle Renee Ryan

Michelle Renee Ryan, 51, a lifelong resident of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away surrounded by love on April 16, 2024. Born in Terre Haute on June 22, 1972, Michelle's radiant spirit was a gift to all who knew her throughout her entire life in this community. Her laughter was a reflection of her soul—joyful and genuine. Her generosity knew no bounds, and her presence was a source of comfort and happiness. She is survived by her loving sons, Kameron and Logan Bell, who were the embodiment of her nurturing love and her proudest achievements. Michelle’s stepfather, Kevin Nickles; her mother, Mary (Ryan) Nickles; and her brother, Kenny Kintner, will forever cherish her memory. Her brother, Kevin Kintner, predeceased her, and she was filled with joy at the thought of welcoming her first unborn grandson. A valued member of the Rose-Hulman community, Michelle formed numerous enduring friendships that were a reflection of her own steadfast and compassionate nature. Her relationship with her mother, Mary, was a beautiful dance of mutual respect and enjoyment, so close that they shared the playful nickname "Bee" with each other, signifying their unbreakable bond. Passionate about music, especially the works of Halsey, Michelle’s love for rhythm and lyrics was infectious. Her musical tastes became a cherished part of her identity, remembered fondly by friends and family alike. Above all, Michelle was a loving mother whose greatest pride was to witness her sons' journey into manhood. Her life, though tragically short, was a tapestry of treasured moments that will be held dear by her family and friends for generations to come. Visitation will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home on Friday April 19, 2024 from 11 AM to 1 PM. Services will begin at 1 PM. Burial to follow at Grandview Cemetery.
