She was born on November 16, 1924, to Edna Wise LaFollette and Milton LaFollette.
Mildred is survived by her three sons and their wives: Tom Wills (Sandy), Mike Wills (Kathy), and David Wills (Maurita); along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Suzanne LaFollette Long and husband, Jerry and her brother James LaFollette and wife, Ginny.
Mildred earned her undergraduate degree and her doctoral degree at Indiana State University and retired as a professor from DePauw University.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband George Oliver Wills; her sister, Betty LaFollette Kline; and her grandson, Jordan Wills.
A celebration of her life will be scheduled.
