

Nancy Ann Archer Chambers, 69, passed away Saturday morning, August 22, 2015, in her home and surrounded by her family. She was born May 31, 1946 in Terre Haute to Charles W. Archer and Constance M. Archer.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Bill Chambers; daughter Shelly Hunt and granddaughters Allison, Emilee, and Adlee Hunt; daughter Jennifer Adams and husband Jeff, and granddaughters Morgan and Lindsey Adams; daughter Leslie Morrison and husband JR, and grandson Evan Courtney and granddaughter Emma Morrison; brother Joe Archer and wife Kathy; brother Dave Archer and wife Lisa; sister-in-law Barbara Archer; and brother-in-law Larry Taylor and wife Kathy; along with several nieces and nephews and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Connie Archer; brother Larry C. Archer; sister Irene Korenski and brother-in-law George Korenski; sister-in-law Patty Taylor; and mother-in-law and father-in-law Buella and Clifford Reely.
Nancy was a 1964 graduate of Garfield High School, and received her LPN license in 1965. She worked for 28 years at Vermillion Convalescent Center, where she retired in 2008.
She was a member of North Terre Haute Christian Church, a member of Badoura Temple No. 23 Daughters of the Nile, and a member of “The Garfield Girls” (and guys, Class of 1964). She enjoyed playing BINGO with close friends and family twice a month, and loved spending time with her husband, daughters, and grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 26, 2015 in Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 N. Clinton Road with Chris McKinney officiating. Burial will be in Highland Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., on Tuesday, August 25, 2015, with Daughters of the Nile services at 7:30 p.m.
