

Nellie O. Moore, 86, of Marshall, IL and formerly of Vigo County, passed away March 22, 2015. She was born on September 1, 1928 to Emmett and Florence (Henson) Clough. Mrs. Moore was retired from the Vigo County School Corporation after having taught for 24 years, most of them at Dixie Bee Elementary. She was a member of First Prairie Creek Baptist Church and their Ladies Missionary, Dixie Bee Retirees, and was a founding member of the Prairie Creek Bridge Club and has remained a active bridge player. Her husband, Harry H. Moore preceded her in death in 2000. She is survived by a son, Steve (Debbie) Moore, and two daughters Barbara (Marcus) Brewer and Linda Moore; three sisters Jane Killion, Patricia Dentel, and Laura Donham, four grandchildren Stephanie Augustus, Brad Moore, Natalie Brewer, and Nancy Haskins; seven great-grandchildren Brandon, Tyler, and Mercy Augustus, and Mason, Max, Matthew, and Miles Moore. She has several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by brothers and sisters Bing Clough, Art Clough, Reuben Clough, Frances Hochstetler, and Margaret Kopp. Memorial services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 27, 2015 at First Prairie Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Dobson officiating. Visitation will be at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 4-7 p.m..
