Norma Jean Fitzpatrick, 97, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away at her residence on June 4, 2021.
She was born on November 27, 1923 in New Albany, Indiana to Charles and Pearl (Jennings) Roberts.
Norma is survived by her three grandchildren: Walter Fitzpatrick, Lisa Dickerson (Mark), and Jamie Woodard; her four great-grandchildren: Jennifer Lewis (Brian), Jonathon Fitzpatrick (Jessie), Jeanette Wood (Jason), and Lindsey Beasley (Nicholas); five great great-grandchildren: Andrew, Jaylen, Aaliyah, Michael, and Max; sister, Georgia Elgan; along with several nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the Daughters of the Nile and a member of the Teamsters Union.
Norma loved to play bingo, travel, and volunteer to help her community. But most of all, she loved to spend time with all her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Walter Fitzpatrick; and her three sons: Clarence, Jimmy, and George Fitzpatrick.
Visitation will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 from 12pm – 2pm. Funeral service will begin at 2pm, with a graveside to follow. Roselawn Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements. Online condolences can be made at www.roselawnfuneralhome.net.
