Pamela Emory Kress, 70, of Terre Haute, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 13, 2018, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born on November 28, 1947, in Terre Haute to Edward Arthur and Susanna Rose Engles Emory. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Elmis Kress Jr,; children, John and Karen Kress, Dusty and Lee Tyson, Vonda and Jack Wilson, Courtney and Nick Fox; two grandchildren, Emory and Lottie Rose Tyson; her sister, Carolyn and Allen Watson; two nephews, Dale and Missy Watson (Baylee and Logan); Ken Watson; and three nieces, Leesa and John Smith (Ciara and Jaden), Lori Kress, and Theresa Watson.
Pam was a member of Rio Grande Baptist Church. She was a leader for the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and 4-H. She was a loving and wonderful wife, mom, grandma, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to all. She was loved by everyone that knew her and feared by her children when they crossed her. She had “The Look.” She loved all of the animals she took in.
Her family would like to thank Dr. Spendal and Andrea Spendal, and the Hospice family for all of their love and support through this emotional time.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Monday, July 16 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Services will begin at 7 p.m. on Monday, at the funeral home with Reverend John Kress and Pastor Lee Tyson officiating. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.roselawnfuneralhome.net
