She was born in Walpole, Massachusetts, November 30, 1956 to Stanley & Mary Gawlick.
After graduating from college, she joined the United States Air Force to travel the world, but sarcastically joked that she found herself in Rantoul, Illinois, stationed at Chanute Air Force Base. While stationed there, she met her eventual husband, Keith Robinson, and gave birth to her son Kristopher.
After leaving the Air Force, Pattie worked various jobs while living in Indiana. She became a case worker for Child Protective Services, and faithfully served children, families, and the State of Indiana for over 30 years.
While Pattie missed being on the East Coast, enjoying such things as the ocean, beach, fresh seafood, and family; her motto was that her SOX were always RED no matter where life took her! Pattie loved watching her Boston sports teams, including the New England Patriots and Tom Brady, and made the most of living in the Midwest by gardening, hunting, playing with her dogs and doing photography. It is in Indiana, however, where Pattie found Jesus Christ as her Lord & Savior and was a faithful part of her beloved church family Free Life Community Church.
She is survived by her son Kristopher, beautiful daughter-in-law Jessica, and three grandchildren, Nathan, Matthew and Vanessa; her brother Gregory Gawlick, wife Krissy and nieces Hannah and Maddie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Mary Gawlick, and husband Keith Robinson.
Visitation from 10 AM to Noon, with a traditional funeral service following at Noon, on Tuesday, June 30th, at Roselawn Funeral Home, Terre Haute, with Dr. Dan Willis and Rev. Kris Robinson, officiating. Interment at Roselawn Cemetery with a short graveside service will follow. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home, and memorial contributions in Pattie’s honor, may be made to Free Life Community Church.
