

Paul Thomas Coleman was born May 10, 1937 in Lawrenceville, Illinois, to Henry Anson and Helen Marie (Stivers) Coleman, suddenly passed on Thursday, Aug 17, 2017. He married Sandra Ruth Lynn on Jan 24, 1962 in Charleston, Kentucky.
He graduated from Gerstmeyer High School in 1956, and proudly served in the U.S. Army for seven years. He retired from C. F. Industries in 1989 as an Oil, Chemical, and Atomic Workers International Union (OCAW) member and attended Sugar Creek Baptist Church located in West Terre Haute.
Surviving are four children Keith (Judi) Coleman of Houston, Texas, Vicki (Ed) Joy of Pimento, Indiana, Gregory (Mary Ann) Coleman of Earlysville, Virginia, LTC Christopher (Laura) Coleman of Louisville, Kentucky, seven grandchildren, Nicole Joy, Glenn Coleman, Rachel Coleman, Marina Coleman, Matthew Coleman, Jason Coleman, Monet Coleman; one great granddaughter Dallas Joy and one great grandchild due in Jan 2018, brothers Bill, Mike, Steve and sisters Debbie McKelvey and Cathy Skinner. He was preceded in death by parents Henry Anson Coleman and Helen Marie (Stivers), grandson Thomas Joy, brothers John, David, Jerry, Terry, Gary and sisters Dora Prouse and Lynn Anton.
A funeral celebrating his life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug 23, 2017, at Roselawn Funeral Home, with Pastor Tom Savage officiating. Visitation will be held from noon until the time of services. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park with military honors provided by American Legion Post 104.
