Peggy Lou Sisson

Peggy was a graduate of Bloomington High School in 1958 and spent two years at Indiana State University.

She was employed by Indiana State University in the Housing and Food Service Department for 23 years.

She was a member of the Rio Grande Baptist Church and a former member of “Sweet Harmony”.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and she will be missed greatly by her family.

Peggy is survived by her husband Herbert Sisson, three daughters Debbie Carithers and husband Donald, Angie Sisson and Joe Frazier of Terre Haute, and Pam and Marlon Thompson of Kingman, IN. a brother Lloyd Minnick of Bloomington, two grandsons Kyle Thompson of Kingman, and Dallas Carithers of Terre Haute.

She was preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Catherine Minnick, and a sister Leah Jane Stevens.

Services will be Wednesday, August 7, 2013, at 11 AM at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home with visitation Tuesday, August 6, 2013, from 4 to 8 PM at Mattox-Wood. Officiating will be Rev. Larry Lilly with burial to follow at Sulphur Springs Cemetery. On line condolences may be made at www.mattoxwood.com.
