

Phyllis Ann Arnett, 81, of Terre Haute, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Union Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was born on September, 22, 1933, in Terre Haute to Eugene and Minnie Goldhardt.
Phyllis was a 1951 graduate of Garfield High School. She was a drum majorette and also tap danced. She loved and cared for people of all walks of life which led her to become a social worker for several years. Phyllis retired from ISU.
An artistic and creative woman, Phyllis was skilled in making stained glass windows and painting on porcelain. She had a soft heart for animals. She was a great mother to her children. Most of all , Phyllis cherished the time she spent with her family, she will be deeply missed.
Phyllis is survived by her children: Paula Brandon and husband Chuck of Newport, KY, Rob Arnett and wife Roz of Sarasota, FL, and Mike Arnett and wife Jeanne of Bolingbrook, IL; a step-son, Cody Hines and wife Darla of Missouri; grandchildren, Josh Thome, Lindsey Thome, Sarah Thome, Rory Sandhage, Jason Sandhage, and Rob Arnett; and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Cleeta Thome.
Visitation will be held from 10 to noon on Saturday, April 18 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Services will be held at noon on Saturday, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. Kind words and fond memories may be shared with the family at www.roselawnfuneralhome.net
