Richard was born on February 5, 1957, the son of Loren S. and Mary A. (Akers) Mitchell.
Survivors include four siblings, Debbie, Harold, Denise, and Mark.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Emma Norman.
Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Roselawn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service Tuesday.
