Ricky A. Lee passed away on October 14, 2026, leaving behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory. Ricky was the husband of Cathy Lee (Whitaker). They were married for 29 years. Ricky was the father of Leslie Coleman (Benjamin) and Christopher Waggoner (Rebecca). He was also a stepfather to Carlotta Chumley (Jim) and Chastidy Large. He was a proud grandfather to Maci Coleman, Benjamin Coleman, Abigail Matherly, Skylar Waggoner, Gavin Waggoner, Layke Chumley, Kiersten Chumley (Curtis), Cainan Harper (Taylor), Gabriel Chumley (Olivia), Derrik Large (Caitlyn) and Meghan Pop (Alex). He was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Kimis, Karley, Scarlett, Everett, Raegan, Fynn, and Theo who carry his family’s legacy into the next generation. Those who knew Ricky knew he was a jokester who enjoyed making people laugh. He had a great sense of humor and a love for watching racing. The laughter he brought into people’s lives and the memories made with him will be treasured by his family and friends for years to come. Ricky was preceded in death by his wife Cathy Lee, his parents, Richard and Harriet Jane Lee, and his brother, Monte Lee. He is survived by his children and stepchildren; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Cynthia Blanc (David); Mark Lee (Kristi); Danny Lee (Ala’a); and Melisa Chaney. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, along with extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly. Though Ricky’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved him, his memory will continue to live on through the stories shared, the laughter remembered, and the family he leaves behind. The love he gave and the memories he created will remain a part of his family’s lives for generations to come. A celebration of life honoring Ricky A. Lee will be held at a later date. Forever loved, always remembered, and never forgotten.
