

Harry Robert Malcolm McIntosh, affectionately known as Bob, 77, of Terre Haute, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Union Hospital, surrounded by his family. He was born on March 15, 1938, in Terre Haute, to Harry and Mary (Miller) McIntosh. He married Fay Winger on March 15, 1963.
Bob is survived by his wife of 52 years, Fay McIntosh of Terre Haute; a sister, Marilyn McIntosh Rector of Chalfont, PA; sister-in-law, Martha Heath and husband Larry of Terre Haute; aunt, Beulah Halberstadt of Farmersburg; nieces and nephews, Tamara and Brad Kear of Doylestown, PA; Michelle and Dan Chess of Lititz, PA; Pat and Vangie Harrison of Brazil, Scott and Meredith Harrison of Brazil, Mike and Jodie Sipes of Las Vegas, NV; Paul Sipes of Kentucky, Katie and Darrell Bell of Union, Kentucky; eleven great-nieces and nephews; and last, but not least, his beloved Yorkie, Tony.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Carol Trhlik, and a sister-in-law Kay Harrison, and brother-in-laws Don Rector and Jon Harrison.
Bob worked for many years for JI Case, Allison Transmission, and Pfizer. In his spare time, he enjoyed working in his yard. He loved to attend the Indy 500 and watch Nascar racing. He was an avid fan of Dale Earnhardt, Sr. and Tony Stewart. He liked to go golfing. Bob was a kid at heart and he loved to take trips with Fay and Marilyn to Disneyworld. He always came back with souvenirs which led to his vast collection of Disney memorabilia.
Visitation will be held from 11 to 1 p.m. on Monday, August 31 at Thomas Funeral Home. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, at the funeral home with Pastor David Rockhill officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Terre Haute Humane Society.
