Robin Lynn Wilson, 63, passed away on September 18, 2026. Born February 1, 1963, Robin was a resident of Rosedale, Indiana. She will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who knew her.
Robin pursued her calling in healthcare by attending college to receive her LPN, a step that set the course for a life defined by steady service and sincere care for others. Her compassion and kind-hearted nature were evident not only in what she did, but in the way she did it—consistently placing the needs of others before her own.
Over the years, Robin built a remarkable nursing career marked by dedication and hard work. She spent 26 years at UAP Clinic for Dr. Andreasen and later served 13 years as the Associate Director of Nursing at Gibault. Known to many as “Nurse Wilson,” she earned that name through reliability, selfless commitment, and the quiet assurance she brought to those in her care. She was the kind of nurse who made certain every task was completed for her patients before clocking out, a reflection of the devotion that guided her professional life.
Robin was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Marilyn (Everett) Howk. She is survived by her son, Rodney Yowell (Jocelyn) of Danville, Indiana; her life partner of 25 years, Eric Bonewell; her siblings, Sharon Manley (Mark), Carla Brenton (Steve), and Brian Howk (Peggy); and several nieces and nephews.
In her personal life, Robin’s love was steadfast and unmistakable—both strong and tender, with a spirited, feisty warmth that made her presence memorable. She was a devoted partner, mother, and family member, and she remained deeply beloved by those closest to her. She also found genuine comfort and joy in the companionship of her dogs, whom she loved dearly.
Robin’s legacy is one of faithful service, compassion in action, and a life spent caring for others with diligence and heart. She will be deeply missed and respectfully remembered.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 1:00p.m. In Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 North Clinton Street, Terre Haute, Indiana 47805. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, from 11:00a.m. Until service time.
