He was preceded in death by his parents, daughters Rhonda Rose Ortiz and Peggy Lee Bartley. Ron is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jeanette (Heirston) Irving and his step-daughter Jackie Lynn Elmendorf.
Ron was a United States Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War and a veteran of the US Army Paratroopers.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, April 23, 2019 in Grandview Cemetery with Rev. Bob McHenry officiating. Military honors will also be conducted.
