Roscoe Eugene Coleman, age 73, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022.
He was born August 5, 1948 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Charles and Thelma (Cordrey) Coleman.
Rocky was a dedicated member of the Highland Church in West Terre Haute. One of his greatest accomplishments was dedicating his time and hard work into building the Highland Church Youth Center.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Sharon Coleman; his children: Lori Hutchings (Larry); Tonya Carter (Bub), Crystal Gifford (Steve), Carri Violet (Drew), and Randy Wallon (Sara); his loving grandchildren and joy of his life: Noah, Emily, Hope, Oliver Alex, Annagale, Alana, Lillian, Olivia, Jocelyn, Keyden, Isabella, Camden, Vivian, and Ella Louise. He is also survived by his sister, Charlene Wilkey.
Rocky enjoyed woodworking, carpentry, and hunting. He loved his church and enjoyed Marco Polo with the Highland Heavy Hitters. He cherished his time and memories with his grandchildren and was very proud of all of them. They were all convinced that they were the favorite, in which they all were.
He is preceded in death by his parents; along with his siblings: Jack Webster, Jerry Webster, Goly Coleman, Gladys (Sis) Webster, Anita Coleman, and Patricia Steward.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 12-2pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. Service will begin at 2pm with Pastor Ryan Thomas officiating. A Graveside will follow at Roselawn memorial Park, where Rocky will be laid to rest.
