

Rosemary (Brandal) Hackbarth, 89, of Terre Haute, IN, passed away on Jan. 12, 2015, at her home at Westminister Village Health Care and Rehab. She was born on May 5, 1925, to Albert Brandal and Sadie Sherrick in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Rosemary retired from a lifelong career as a nurse anesthetist. She is survived by her children, John Hackbarth of Hutsonville, IL, Susan Young and husband Michael of Bel Air, MD, Martha DeVito and husband Jeff of Granger, IN, David Hackbarth and wife Janice of Tell City, IN, Laura Griffin of Terre Haute, IN, and Paul Hackbarth of Danville, IL, she also is survived by 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, one niece, and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arnold D. Hackbarth, her parents, and a son William Hackbarth.
Rosemary was active in the American Association of Nurse Anesthetist, Indiana Association of Nurse Anesthetist, Red Cross Volunteer Nurse, National Association of Retired Federal Employees, American Association of Retired Persons, and Alumni Association of Minnesota School of Anesthetist.
A Celebration of Life will be Saturday January 17th at 3:00 PM at The Trinity Lutheran Church with a visitation Saturday from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at the church.
