Sandra Ruth Coleman

She married Paul Thomas Coleman on Jan 24, 1962 at Charleston Baptist Church. She graduated from Charleston High School in 1962. And was a founding member of the Sugar Creek Baptist Church, West Terre Haute in 1967. She worked at Sam’s Club in Terre Haute, but left to take care of her husband in his remaining days.

Surviving are four children Keith (Judi) Coleman of Houston, Texas, Vicki (Ed) Joy of Pimento, Indiana, Gregory (Mary Ann) Coleman of Earlysville, Virginia, LTC Christopher (Laura) Coleman of Louisville, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Nicole Joy, Glenn Coleman, Rachel Coleman, Marina Coleman, Matthew Coleman, Jason Coleman, Monet Coleman; one great granddaughter Dallas Joy and one great grandchild due in Jan 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Thomas Coleman, parents James Weldon Lynn and Laura Agnes (Bruce), grandson Thomas Joy, brothers Marion Lynn, Marlyn Lynn, Kenneth Lynn; sisters Betty VandenBrink, Muriel Curtright, and Phyllis Dorris.

A funeral celebrating her life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug 23, 2017, at Roselawn Funeral Home, Terre Haute, Indiana with Pastor Tom Savage officiating.
