Sharon Benita McDaniel

Sharon is survived by her husband, Ralph L. McDaniel, whom she married on December 1, 1955; sons and daughter-in-laws, Mark and Anna (Gropp) McDaniel, Scott McDaniel, and Matthew and Tammy (Baldwin) McDaniel. She also leaves behind six grandchildren: Jared, Joshua, Erin, Jessica, and Kayla McDaniel, and Amber Ballinger, all of Terre Haute.

She was preceded in death by both parents.

Sharon retired from Indiana State University Purchasing Department. She was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, crocheting, being outdoors, Nascar racing and was a Jeff Gordon fan. Sharon was a dedicated wife, loving mother, grandmother, and friend.

A private service will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 6, 2016. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The Humane Society of Terre Haute. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.roselawnfuneralhome.net
