Shirley Marietta

She was a homemaker.

She was born July 27, 1925 in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late Robert Mathias and Norma Davis Mathias.

On January 25, 1945 she married William L. Marietta and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, David (Rae) Marietta of Clinton, Indiana, Phyllis (Jon) Lewman of Dana, Indiana and Dennis (Lynn) Marietta of Dana, Indiana; Grandchildren, Mario Marietta (fiancé ) Alixandra of Clinton, Indiana, Britainy (Kevin) Sholl of Collierville, Tennessee, Erin (Ross) Riggs of Ellettsville, Indiana, Nicole (James) Mustain of Cayuga, Indiana, Dustin (Bobbi) Marietta of Perrysville, Indiana and Vincent (Jenni) Marietta of Lafayette, Indiana; great-grandchildren, Grant and Claire Sholl, Gracey and Hadlee Mustain and Maci Marietta.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Slemp and a brother, Robert Mathias.

She was a 1943 graduate of Clinton High School. She was an active member of the Red Hat Society and Home Economics Club. She attended the Dana Community Bible Church.

Services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, February 18, in Dana Community Bible Church, 200 N. Maple Street, Dana, with Jon Lewman and Rev. Marvin Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Terre Haute. Visitation is from 9:00 am until 11:00 Tuesday at the Church.
