Susan P. Lovett

She was born on February 19, 1944, in Terre Haute, Indiana the daughter of James and Mary Elizabeth (White) Hubbs. She worked for Columbian Home Products in Terre Haute for more than 40 years. She was married for 50 years to the love of her life, James R. Lovett; he preceded her in death in March of this year. Susan and James attended Berea Christian Church for many years. Recently they were attending Calvary Baptist Church.

Susan enjoyed reading, sewing, spending time on her computer, flower gardening, and her two Poodles Solomon and Jonah and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents: James and Mary Elizabeth Hubbs; her husband James Lovett; and a sister Patricia J. Seeley; a granddaughter Kimberly Farris and brother-in-law Harold Lovett.

She is survived by her children: Tommie Sue Poling and husband Rick of Sullivan, Marcus Brian Lovett and wife Brenda of Terre Haute, James Keith Lovett and wife Amy of Brazil, Edie Nichols and husband Chris; grandchildren: Skyler Lovett, Chris Johnson, Justin Farris, Makayla Creech, Kyndall Farmer, and Chloe Farmer, Stacey (Michael) and Lindsey (Alex); siblings: James William Hubbs Jr. of Terre Haute, Henry Alonzo Hubbs of Marion, Indiana, Beverly J. Muncie of Terre Haute, and Judith Ann Eveland of Terre Haute; brother and sister-in-law: Bill Lovett and wife Linda of Brazil and Susie June of Brazil and several nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends

Visitation will be at French Funeral Home, 421 East National Ave. Brazil, Indiana, on Friday, July 26, 2019 from 4-7pm and again on Saturday, from 10am until time of services.
