Terry Keith Harden

April 1946 – October 18, 2026

Terry was born April 1946, in Vigo County to William Edward and Helen Lucille Harden, Terry was a lifelong resident of the community he called home. He graduated from West Vigo High School in 1964 and went on to build a career as a union sheet metal journeyman with Local Union #20. He took great pride in his work, and even more in what it made possible: the life he wanted to give to the family he cherished.

Of all the things Terry built in his life, none mattered more than his family. He married the love of his life, Sheri Lynn, and they shared nearly 53 years together. Together they raised two children, Terra Dove and Terry Keith Jr. “TK”. Terry worked hard so they would have the life he dreamed of for them. He was endlessly proud of everything they, and later his grandchildren, accomplished. You could usually find him in the stands or the audience, cheering on his kids and grandkids at their events.

Terry was a gentle giant of a man with the heart of a teddy bear. He was loving, caring, and sincere, and he would do anything for anyone. He was also a prankster, and his quick, witty sense of humor stayed with him until the very end. He was a three-time champion in ping pong, pool, and poker, and he never let anyone forget it.

To his wife, his children, and his grandchildren, Terry was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. The love he gave so freely, and the laughter he left behind, will carry on in all of them.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, William Dean Harden and Larry Richard Harden.

He is survived by his wife, Sheri; daughter Terra (Jeremy) Lasecki and their children Ashlynn Dove, Avery Drew, Allie Dee, and Austin Dean; son TK (Debra) Harden and their children Conner Joshua, Blake William, Lane Alexander, Colton Gregory, Levi Allen, and Noelle Jolene; sister Sally Eldridge; sister-in-law Jackie Hoesman; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Joseph A Bray Marine Corporation League (3006 N. 16th St Terre Haute, IN 47804) on November 8, 2026 from 1-4pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Happiness Bag, Inc. (3833 Union Rd, Terre Haute, IN 47802).
