Thelma Ruth Andrew

Thelma was born at home to Ralph and Edna Milligan in Vermillion County Indiana in April of 1938.

Thelma attended and graduated from Bridgeton High School in 1956 and went on to become a secretary before giving birth to her daughter Karen.

Thelma was a lifelong member of the Bridgeton United Methodist Church where she was married to her husband Melvin in November 1956, played organ for over 50 years, and was bookkeeper and secretary for the church.

Thelma loved music, played organ and piano, liked crafts, enjoyed completing crosswords, and never met a dog she didn’t love.

Thelma is survived by her daughter Karen Durr (Gregg); grandchildren Nick Durr (Kaitland), Adrian Durr (Jessica) ,and Emily Clapp (Christopher); great grandchildren Max and Harleigh Durr; brother in law Glenn Andrew (Carol); and several nieces and nephews.

Thelma is preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Edna (Ford) Milligan, husband Melvin Andrew, Sister Sara Lynne Hartman (Allan), and brother in law Raymond Andrew (Ann).

Visitation for Thelma will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 11am until 1pm at Roselawn Funeral Home with services to follow.
