It is with heavy heart and great sorrow that we confirm our beloved mother Thelma Jean Zurcher passed away on September 11th, 2025 in her home bed. She died peacefully in her sleep at 95 years of age.
A loyal wife to Harry Zurcher and gentle mother to sons Mark, Rick, Ron and daughter Suzanne Zurcher.
She worked 23 years at Roots Store as a bookkeeper and retired from Columbia Records after 25 years. Jean was a dedicated volunteer at Seelyville Methodist church, a Cub Scout, Girl Scout leader and 4H leader. Jean loved bowling with her husband for 55 years, was passionate about Indiana Pacers and Indianapolis Colts. She loved sewing quilts, making dolls, crocheting and crafting. Her joy was her flower garden filled with Hummingbirds..
Survived by three sons Mark (Ana) Zurcher of Mckinney TX , Rick (Amy) Zurcher of Terre Haute IN, Ron (Rachel) Zurcher of Prosper TX and daughter Suzannne (Kevin) Zurcher of West Terre Haute IN, 10 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Lets celebrate Jean's life at her memorial service this September 16th, 2025, Tuesday at 01:45 at Roselawn Mausoleum Memorial Park.
