Thomas Dickinson

Thomas “Tommy” Hagan Dickinson, of Terre Haute, passed away on September 16, 2012 at Royal Oaks Nursing & Rehab, age 64. Tommy was born in Hopkinsville, Kentucky on February 19, 1948. Tommy was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Post 6 in Madisonville, Kentucky and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Terre Haute. Tommy had worked for the Department of Natural Resources in Kentucky and as a truck driver at ICON, before retiring due to health complications. A selfless and good hearted man, Tommy would help anyone. He loved to have fun, and was always ready for a picnic or a birthday.

Tommy leaves behind several family and friends that include: Becky J. Toney, Annette Coffey, Mary Jo Stevens, Robin Carr and several others. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mimms and Hazel Mae (Gray) Dickinson. Tommy was a dear, sweet person who had a heart of gold. He will be greatly missed. RIP Tommy, we love you! A Celebration of Life party will be held at the American Legion, Post #104 on Ft. Harrison Rd. outside under the shelters from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Covered dishes are welcome.
