Tommy Lou Brosche, 92, of Terre Haute, passed away on Friday, November 09, 2018 at Union Hospital. She was born on December 31, 1925, in Terre Haute, to Oliver Andrew Brown and Stella Hazel (Trump) Brown.
Tommy is survived by her nieces and nephews: Elizabeth Roxanne Eatinger and husband Wayne of Thedford, NE; David Allen Schmidt of Taft, TX; Monte Brown and wife Terre of Trafalgar, IN; Robert Brown and wife Julie of Rosedale; Mary Fuller and husband Jerry of McKinney, TX; several great-nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews, friends that were more like family, Stacey Senseman and her daughter, Megan; and life-long best friend, Linn Michaels.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jim Brosche, a brother, Perry Oliver Brown; and sisters, Lilly Rosemary Schmidt and Patricia Ann Brown.
Tommy Lou retired from Kroger after 42 years of service as head cashier. She was an avid, outstanding bowler. She carried the highest bowling average among all of the female bowlers at that time. She was inducted into the Bowler’s Hall of Fame. Tommy Lou also loved to play poker and bingo.
Visitation will be held from 2 until 3:30 on Wednesday, November 21 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral home with Father Martin Day officiating.
