Uriah Reynolds

Uriah R. “Bud” Reynolds, 74, of Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Union Hospital. He was born on March 4, 1939, in Terre Haute to Robert Thomas and Helen Rose (Smith) Reynolds. He married Judith Roberts in 1959 and together they raised three children. Bud was a 1957 graduate of Garfield High School and attended Purdue University. He was the former owner of Reynolds Petroleum Sales in Brazil. He owned Reynolds Self Storage in Brazil and the business will continue to be operated by his children. Bud will always be remembered for his determined personality and his soft heart for animals. Bud is survived by his children: Chris Reynods and his wife Erma of Terre Haute, Jeff Reynolds and his wife Jeanine of Terre Haute, and Lori Romas and her husband Cliff of Brazil; grandchildren, Megan Reynolds, Uriah Reynolds, Mitchell Reynolds, and Rachel Romas, all of Terre Haute, and Amanda Romas of Indianapolis; a sister, Judy Kendall and her husband Bob of Terre Haute; in-laws Delores Roberts;, Bob and Mary Meissel, and Sharon Reynolds; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Judith, his parents, sister, Joyce Meissel, brothers, Tom Reynolds and Greg Reynolds, and his beloved dog, Abby. Per Buds wishes, cremation, with no services, was chosen. Entombment will take place at a later date at Roselawn Memorial Park’s Chapel of Memories. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bud’s name to the Clay County Humane Shelter. Roselawn Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
