Virginia Dare Peters, 92, of Terre Haute, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2020 at Meadows Manor North. She was born on August 18, 1927 in Terre Haute to Alfred and Mabel Jones.

Virginia is survived by her sons, Steven Peters and Richard (Rhonda) Peters; grandchildren, Jennifer, William, and Samantha; and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Samuel Joseph Peters; son, William Peters; siblings, Curt Jones, Elzora Jones, and Norman Jones; and daughters-in-law, Susan Peters and Barbara Peters.

Virginia was a member of the American Legion Post 104 Auxiliary. She loved to play bingo.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 17 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home. A funeral ceremony will take place at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18 at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Lilly officiating. Virginia will be laid to rest in Highland Lawn Cemetery.
