

Some people come into your life for a season. They bring experience of peace or make you laugh. They teach you something you have never known. They give you joy, but only for a season.
This is dedicated to my mother. Her reason on earth was her family and her season was well lived.
Waneta Beatrice Vaughn, 91, of Avon, and formerly of Terre Haute, passed away on October 15, 2014.
Bobby was born on January 15, 1923, to the late William Edward and Bonnie Ida Mae Helmick. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of 60 years, Harold Leland Vaughn, and a daughter, Nonnie Vaughn Puckett.
Bobby was a stay at home Mom who loved to fish, cook, read, garden, and spend time with her family.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Jodi Froeb and husband Kurt of Avon; grandchildren, Darcy Kay Whitaker and husband Tom of Plainfield; Rodney Vaughn Boyd and wife Erin of Sarasota, FL; Christopher Vaughn Puckett and wife Heather of Ellijay, GA; her great-grandchildren, Taylor Vaughn Whitaker, Noah Gabriel Whitaker, Jordan Nicolas Whitaker, Madilyn McKenzie Whitaker, Connor Vaughn Boyd, Dylan Ohara Boyd, and Sydney Jade Puckett.
