Warren Frederick Hamilton

Warren Frederick Hamilton 89, of Terre Haute, IN, passed away Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014, at Terre Haute Nursing & Rehabilitation. He was born July 16, 1925, in Seelyville, IN, to Herman R. Hamilton and Hazel (Tison) Hamilton. Warren was a graduate of Glenn High School. He worked at several different places during his lifetime, A & P (Quaker Maid), Vigo County Schools, Duke Energy, and Machine Tool Service. Warren enjoyed N.A.S.C.A.R., USAC, country music (Bluegrass) and Gospel. He was a member of 8th Avenue Baptist Church.

Warren is survived by his sons Wayne F. Hamilton, of Terre Haute, Bruce Hamilton and his wife Cathy of Avon, IN, Allan Hamilton SR. of Poland, IN; grandchildren Justin Hamilton of New York City, New York, Laura Perrelle and husband Francis of Danville, IN, Allan Hamilton Jr. of Indianapolis, IN, Jacob Hamilton of Wilmore, KY.; great-grandchild Samantha Perrelle; a sister, Annabelle Plenge of Terre Haute, IN; and several nieces and nephews.

Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Herman Hamilton and Hazel Hamilton, his wife Hazel, sisters, an infant Carol Hamilton, and Rosemary Miller.

Services will be Saturday, Nov. 1st at 2:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home with a visitation Saturday from 12:00-2:00 PM. Officiating will be Rev. Dick Smith. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to 8th Avenue Baptist Church or a charity of your choice.
