Bill served in the United States Navy for 8 years as a communications specialist which he carried over to his career at Indiana Bell. He retired from Indiana Bell Telephone Company as a manager. Bill graduated from Marshall High School in 1951. He was a member of the St Patrick's Catholic Church of Terre Haute. He is a past member of the Vermillion County Country Club.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife Pearl Baker whom he married in 1953. Bill is survived by his long time companion Martha J. McCammon of Clinton, Indiana, his sister Shirley Pinegar,
her husband Bill, niece Debra and nephew Dave of Tipton, Iowa.
Visitation will be at Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 N Clinton Street, Terre Haute, IN Wednesday, January 14 at noon. A full military service will follow at 1:00pm. Entombment will be next to his wife Pearl at Roselawn following the service.
