William George O'Rourke

William George O'Rourke, 86 of Peyton, Colorado passed away December 18, 2019 with family by his side. He was born in New York, New York on July 27th, 1933 to William E. O'Rourke and Kathleen Holzman O'Rourke. He married Denise Meneely on November 9th, 1992.
Bill retired as a Lt. Commander from the Navy after 22 years of service. He retired in July of 1996 after 23 years of service with First Financial Bank and moved to Colorado, where he enjoyed his passion of Golf while walking and carrying his clubs. Bill was a former member of the Rotary Club. He also enjoyed bowling.
He is survived by his wife Denise; children, Patricia O'Rourke Pool, William George "Rusty" O'Rourke Jr, Michael (William Pimentel) O'Rourke, Kevin (Edmund "Ed" Jaeger) O'Rourke, Sean (Leslee) O'Rourke, Patrick (Alyson) O'Rourke, Melinda "Mindy" (Victor Rung) Watts, Kendra (Steve) Duran, Eric O'Rourke; step-daughter, Amanda Roberts (Brian) Scheuzger; a brother, Kenneth O'Rourke; a sister,Kathleen Wiener; an aunt, Geraldine "Gerry" Cassidy; brother-in-law, George Meneely; grandchildren, Holly Donovan, Nicholas Donovan, Jason O'Rourke, Gabrielle "Katrina" Sokoloff, Shauna O'Rourke, Sean O'Rourke ll, Connor O'Rourke, Elizabeth O'Rourke, Samuel Scheuzger, Henry Scheuzger, Tatym O'Rourke, Timothy O'Rourke, Morgan O'Rourke, Brendyn Watts, Broly Watts, Landen Duran and Cole Duran.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 30, 2019 at 1 P.M. at Roselawn Funeral Home, with Reverend Ralph Davis officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. until time of services on Monday at the funeral home.
