Yvonne and I went to school together in Spartanburg, SC. Since her last name and mine both began with “A” I was usually seated right behind her or maybe behind her, then Danny Adair. She and I both played flutes and piccolos in the Dorman High School Band in Spartanburg. We were in the Class of 1967. We had or 50th class reunion last October and were not successful in reaching her about coming. Had she had an extended illness? Rest In Peace, my friend from childhood.

My condolences go out to the family of Yvonne Penn. I had the pleasure of working with her for 20+ years at WCIEDD/ Area 7 Agency on Aging and Disabled. She was an outstanding case manager and loved her work. We were blessed to have her on our team helping many senior citizens and disabled individuals of our community. May your faith help you through this difficult time.
