Carolyn Sue Thrasher Brimingham, formerly of Terrell, passed away May 8, 2014 in Arlington. She was born Jan. 12, 1951 to Noah and Frances (Graves) Thrasher, both of whom preceded her in death along with her son, Ty Brimingham; brother, Larry Thrasher and husband, Charles K. Brimingham. Carolyn grew up in Terrell and graduated Terrell High School in 1970 after which she moved to Irving. She enjoyed many interests including cooking, reading and traveling. She had a way of always making each adventure into an activity where she could learn new things. Carolyn was always up for traveling and her personal favorite destination was San Francisco. Her love of life was rivalled only by her never ending love for her family and she was a devoted mother to her sons, Ty and Jason. When her grandchildren came along, Carolyn found new and inspiring ways to adore them and make sure they knew she was wrapped around their fingers. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Jason Brimingham and wife, Leslie, of Roanoke; grandchildren: Britney, Bryan and Brooke Brimingham; great grandson, Mason Lamm as well as several lifetime and longtime friends from both Terrell and Grand Prairie, all of whom will miss her greatly. Funeral service will be at 2:00pm, Monday, May 12, 2014 at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Chapel with interment to follow at Oakland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00pm to service time.
