It has been many a year since I saw Mrs. Ernst. As a child walking home from Hodges Elementary School, sometimes I was see my Memaw was visiting her Aunt Vernie on Pioneer Road in Balch Springs, Tx. I liked to stop in and listen to them talk about old times. Too, I probable got a ride home from Memaw. My Memaw's mother was Minnie Adell (Shepherd) Cole who was an older sister to Vernie (Shepherd) Farley. I remember our families visited a few times when I was young. Alas, it seems the families drifted apart over the years. Bless you and your family my distant cousin Delores.
