Dorothy J Pirtle-Simmons

She was one of 9 children born to this marriage, Geneva, Ethel, Hazel, Sally, Emmett, Caggie,& Mary Lou. Dorothy married Lloyd Pirtle & to this union 2 children were born: Dennis & Judy Pirtle. Lloyd preceded her in death in 1997. She later married Odell Simmons & added many more family members to her family history.

Dorothy is survived by: her Brother, Joe Cox of Kaufman; Husband, Odell Simmons of Terrell; Daughter, Judy Pirtle of Terrell; Son, Dennis Pirtle & his Wife, Jewell of Terrell; Granddaughter, Chelsie Whittington of Balch Springs; Grandson, Ryan Pirtle of Mabank; 2 Great Grandsons, Lennon Whittington of Balch Springs & Jackson Pirtle of Mabank; and many, many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, extended family, & great, great friends.

Dorothy was a loving mother, wife, aunt & friend to many.
