I have known George for over 25 yrs. Just spoke with him not too long ago. He was a very special friend. He spoke so often of his Kauffman, Texas. I am from Dallas and taught school in the Kemp School District when I met him. Quite often I would stop and visit George while passing thru on my way to Dallas. I'm so happy we spoke recently. George I will miss you my dear friend.

Dear George: I have felt bad all week and started trying to reach out to you. After
failing again tonight, I went on line and discovered your passing. We have been friends for over 45 years. You were my mentor, my advisor and, at times, like the dad I never had. You were always happy to hear from me since day 1. You always made me feel great and I tried to return that to you. I was planning to come see you this summer from New York, but now I will wait till Heaven. I miss you and know that you were so loved by all, loving to all and Blessed by God. Please keep
helping from up there. Larry Wilkes
