

Helen was loving, giving, hardworking woman who put others before herself, even making sure her family had shoes before she did. She also loved to cook, sometimes waking up before dawn to have something on the stove just in case someone was to stop by that day, so they could have a bite to eat. Her heart was happiest when she was feeding her family. Helen worked for a dry cleaning company for many years until retiring, after retirement she still continued to iron clothes for people as they asked. When Helen was out of the house she enjoyed spending time at Pirtle Creek fishing being outside.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin L. Roberts and Ruby Jacobs. Her daughter, Ruby Elaine Taylor-Evans, son, Oscar B. Taylor, grandson, Billy Jo Taylor and great grandson, Little Mark Taylor.
Helen is left to be remebered by her daughter, Mary Taylor, grandchildren: Dorothy Evans-Peoples and husband John, Vonnie Taylor-Fillingim and husband Dale, Mary Evans-Sartain and husband Donald, Mark Taylor and wife Veronica, and Don Roberts and wife Kim. Great grandchildren: Dennis Kruse and wife Sharayah, Allen Waddle and wife Missy, Jerry Hensley, Jr. and Carolina., Cristie Fillingim-Risinger and husband Brian, Timothy Hensley and wife Anita, Tammy Walker and husband Jonathan, and Austin Sartain, along with 15 great-great grandchildren.
