Joan Johnston

Joan Johnston, 86, resident of Terrell, passed away on March 18, 2016. Joan was born on November 27, 1929 in Dallas, Texas. She was the daughter of Homer and Sylvia (Grimes) Lanfair. She married Rob Johnston July 9, 1954. Joan and Rob moved to the Terrell community in 1997. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, parents and a grandson. Joan was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Terrell. Her family members who are cherishing the memories of her life are her children Carolyn Tucker Whiteman and husband Delbert of Terrell, Clifford Tucker, Jr. and wife Joann of Cushing, Texas, Bobby Johnston and wife Kathleen of Elmo, two sisters Dorothy Lanfair Baucom and Judy Lanfair, a brother, Jerry Lanfair, all from Crandall, one sister-in-law Sue Johnston Pritchett and husband Steve of Point, Texas, ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one great-great grandson, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
