Wayne was a great man. My wife and I enjoyed his friendship for the last 5 years. A giving and loving man who spoke of his family often. His silent smile and warm handshake meant everything to his integrity and loyalty. Wayne had a work ethic like very few in this world and he let you know you were most important when you needed something. His family was very fortunate to have such a great spouse, father and grandfather. My wife and I wish you great healing and sympathy during this time.

Wayne, enjoy your new life as we await to join you one day!

I remember many memories of Wayne Rush. To pin just one memory can not be done. I have known Wayne since I was a little girl. His family lived down the street from us on Pecan Lane. One day a tornado come and then they are living next to us. Remember when he introduced me to Connie. Liked her on sight. One of the best things to have happened in his life other than his two girls. Wayne will be in our hearts for those that knew him. Evelyn and Daniel stay strong because your brother would want it. My deepest sympathy to the family. And all my love to you.

When Wayne was a little boy, he was blonde and looked alot like his dad. Everyone called him Son. Someone asked him what his name was and he thought his name was Son.
