Lathan was lovingly known as “Fink” to his friends and “Uncle Lathy” to his nieces and nephews. He was a great role model to Avery and Kylon and a devoted Godfather to Malakai and Kannan. He loved animals and children and even coached PeeWee soccer. He was the one of the most generous and loving people you could ever meet and was well known for his middle of the night “I love you” text. You could call him for anything at any time of the day or night and he would come running to help in any way he could. . He could always be counted on to be the life of the party and made sure to keep everyone laughing. Lathan loved America and his Philadelphia Eagles. At 23 he was already buying his own house and could often be found working in his yard, fishing or shooting guns. When his grandfather was sick he taught his self how to operate a tractor so he could help his Namaw take care of her land. He will be dearly missed by everyone who had the opportunity to know him.
