Leon James Harper passed away May 31, 2016 at the age of 86. He was born May 1, 1930 in Ada, Oklahoma to Willie Pearl & James Ester Harper.
Leon was a veteran of the US Army and served during World War II. He was a 50 year Mason at Palo Duro Lodge in Amarillo, Texas. Leon raised Longhorns, was a wood craftsman, & loved to cook.
Leon is preceded in death by his Wife, Odessa Harper; & Parents, Willie Pearl & James Ester Harper. He is survived by his Friends, Cheryl Holly, Harvey Holly, Dwight Robinson, David & Buffy Sunstorm, John & Bobby Baxter, Jamie Johnson, Paul Dewalt, Lorenzo Holly, Tiffany Stanley, Gary Stanley, Karen Pierce.
Services for Leon Harper will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Anderson Clayton Bros. Memorial Chapel in Terrell, Texas.
