What a shock! Life is so precious!
I had the honor of being part of a Praise and Worship Band with Randy. You never had to wonder where you stood with Randy or how he felt. I loved that honesty about Randy! Randy gave his best to his music and I believe much of what he did in his life. I remember him telling me the bible says to do it skillfully. he did, as he expected us to, and to give our best! I believe Randy did that with all he did in his life. I remember, and it stuck with me, how on Saturday mornings while Susan slept, randy would take her car, wash, vacuum and detail it for her. That was Randy! its not fair that he's gone. Life often isn't fair. we all know someday we have to go, but to go sooner, and for reasons that shouldn't be. i know many Christians will say he is with Jesus now, and i hope that to be true. NOT because he would be anywhere other than with Jesus, but because the older we get the reality of knowing someday we will go, and the hope we have, and that's all we have is hope that there is a heaven, there IS a better place that we are going to, because the truth is, we really don't know for sure. its what faith is all about. Believing in the unseen. So i hope for Randy, i hope for all his family and friends, i hope for all of us, the we don't just fade away to nothing. i was honored to call him friend, brother, and i hope someday to call him brother again! Much love and prayers.
