She was born on October 9, 2004, and brought immeasurable joy and light to every life she touched. On May 29, 2022, she was baptized, sealing her deep faith and love for Jesus.
She is survived by her devoted parents, Jeffrey and Bobbie Jo Ashcraft of Texarkana, TX, and her loving siblings Joel, Megan, Brittany, Dylan, Ashley, Shelby, Justin, and Jeffrey Jr. She is preceded in death by her brother, Matt, her Granny Caroline Kincaid, Pawpaw Loyd Williams, Papaw Don Ashcraft, and Nanny Gail Chaffin, with whom she is now joyfully reunited in Heaven.
Abby lived life with a fearless spirit. Whether zip lining high above the trees, skiing down snowy slopes, or braving the biggest roller coasters, she embraced every adventure with courage and excitement. She was an amazing artist, loved anime, and music, and her passion for singing left a lasting impact on many.
Her servant’s heart was evident in everything she did. She cared tenderly for her chickens and puppies, but most importantly, she cared deeply for others—especially children who shared some of her own life’s trials. She had the rare ability to connect with others in their struggles and bring them hope and encouragement.
Her best friend was her mama, and she was her daddy’s princess. She was adored by countless friends, her nurses Carinna and Filly, her nieces and nephews, her long-time school aide Mrs. Mary Jackson, her attendants, Jordan and Bailey, her therapists, doctors, and her coworkers at Cinemark. To know her was to love her, and she left a lasting, positive impact on every single person she met.
In her short years, she showed us all what it means to live fully, love deeply, and serve selflessly.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Joy Project Network, an organization close to her heart, so that her legacy of compassion and service may continue. Abby was a vital part of opening the Texarkana HealthHub and gave countless hours serving children with special needs, both locally and around the world. Her legacy of love will continue through the lives she touched.
Though our hearts ache with grief, we take comfort in knowing she is safe in the arms of Jesus, her song now eternal, her fearless spirit soaring high.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at Church on the Rock, 2301 University Avenue, Texarkana, Texas.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at Church on the Rock with Pastor Cole Yeldell officiating.
