Alan Frank Bradshaw

Alan was born in Prescott, Arkansas, and was raised in Texarkana, Texas. He graduated from Texas High in 1978 and later attended both Texarkana College and the University of Texas at Arlington.

Alan loved cooking and was an outstanding grill and pit master. He had a passion for all types of collegiate and professional sports, but particularly his beloved Arkansas Razorbacks. Alan had a lifelong career working in the automobile service industry, including his last position in Texarkana as Service Manager for the Cooper Tire Service Center. Alan loved animals and especially the various canine companions he owned through the years.

He will be remembered for his caring heart, generosity, hearty laugh, and, most of all, the love he gave to his family. Everyone he loved received a prompt congratulatory birthday or anniversary message, and on special occasions, he penned poems to commemorate the occasion. He was a man of faith from a young age, and his family finds peace and comfort knowing he is now with his Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ.

He is survived by his mother, Jerri Alyne Bradshaw, of Texarkana; his brother, Paul Bradshaw; sister-in-law, Kelly Bradshaw; nephew, Luke Bradshaw; and niece, Emma Bradshaw, all of Waco, Texas. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins whom he loved and adored.

He was preceded in death by his father, Chester Frank Bradshaw.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 7, 2026, at East Funeral Home – Moores Lane Chapel.
